Romics dedicates to Tito Faraci an exhibition which consists of original works to retrace some important steps of his long-standing career, accompanied by extraordinary illustrators: from Il Grande Diabolik - La vera storia dell’isola di King by Palumbo to Capitan Jack, the Texone by Breccia up to Dylan Dog: Remake Caccia agli inquisitori illustrated by Mari, for arriving at the cult L’Uomo Ragno e il segreto del vetro illustrated by Cavazzano and Infierno by Ziche, and ending with the beautiful Disney’s stories and many other adventures. The event with the presence of Tito Faraci is organized in collaboration with Feltrinelli Comics.
Brindille, protagonist of the Romics campaign, born from the hand of Federico Bertolucci, will be told through an exhibition itinerary that will reveal all the work and steps necessary for creating a comics plate: from the study of the characters to the pencil sketches, from the setting of the framing to the different coloring levels of background and characters, to get involved in the beautiful art of Bertolucci. Federico Bertolucci will be present at Romics in collaboration with saldaPress.
The Autumn edition of Romics also celebrates the art of illustrator of the famous scriptwriter Furio Scarpelli with an anthological exhibition composed of over 200 originals. An unpublished heritage of comic books, drawings, graphic novels, sketches and portraits that will enable us to deeply know the versatility and extraordinary talent of Furio Scarpelli, a figure of reference in the history of Italian Cinema. The event is curated by Giacomo Scarpelli, Sabrina Perucca, in collaboration with Gallucci Editore.
