Simonetta Agnello Hornby great protagonist at Romics



Writer Simonetta Agnello Hornby was a great protagonist of one of the most awaited event of the XXIV edition of Romics.

The sicilian authoress has presented her novel for children: Rosie e gli scoiattoli di St. James (Giunti).

Written together with her son George and illustrated by Mariolina Camilleri, teacher of painting techniques and illustrator of children books. Rosie e gli scoiattoli di St. James is an allegory that talks about (through the magic world of animals) all the problems and fears of our multiethnic society. The authoress has inaugurated the first day of the festival, with an open meeting dedicated to school children and her readers.
