She learned to read on the pages of Topolino (Mickey Mouse). This determined the direction of her life. Very young, she started working for small local magazines. The great leap came when she was twenty years old, on the pages of Linus, where she published short stories and sketches, followed closely behind by Cuore and Smemoranda. A little later she reached the editorial staff of Mickey Mouse. After gain[...] gainging valuable experience in the Disney school of Giovan Battista Carpi and thanks to the precious advice of Master Giorgio Cavazzano, she started to illustrate stories featured by Disney characters. With the long episodic story Papernovela, she moved even in texts writing. She continued her work on extra Disney production: on the pages of Comix where appeared the character of Alice a Quel Paese, and inside some Corriere della Sera insert. Quite regularly she came into view even in the bookshops. The first volume was published in 1993 with the title Alice a Quel Paese, followed by Inferno, with texts by Tito Faraci and the two volumes of Olimpo S.p.a. written by Vincenzo Cerami. A little later would be born Lucrezia, her most long-lived character, which made sporadically his appearance on the bookshop, and regurarly on the pages of Donna Moderna. Since 2007 also Topolino has opened with an her vignette. Her drawings of the five episodes great saga Papere al potere, scripts written by Marco Bosco, will be published on Topolino in August.
