Romics_Camp is a call aimed at individuals or teams of innovators and creatives with the intent of identifying innovative ideas, with great market potential, in the new media & entertainment segments. Romics_Camp aims to stimulate and support the launch of innovative projects for generating a positive social impact, in the following areas:


- Cross-media and trans-media

- Convergence culture

- Digital contents

- Entertainment & gamification

- Education

- Social innovation


Romics_Camp is an initiative promoted by Romics – International Festival of Comics, Cinema, Animation and Games, in collaboration with Sapienza Università di Roma, Saperi&Co Centro di ricerca e servizi Sapienza dedicated to research and innovation and Nesta Italia, Foundation that operates in the field of innovation and that is the fruit of the collaboration between Nesta UK and Compagnia di San Paolo, one of the oldest italian philanthropic foundation.


The deadline for applications on the website is at 23:59 on 24 March 2019.


The three most innovative ideas, to be selected through the call, will follow paths of valorisation and acceleration. In addition, the winner will receive € 1000 (one thousand euros), the second and the third place € 500 (five-hundred euros) as a contribution to cover the costs of participation.
