Romics 27th edition from 2nd to 5th April 2020
Registrations are already open for the XXVI edition of the Romics Cosplay Award, running from 3 to 6 October 2019 at the Rome Fair Centre.
The highly anticipated cosplay parade of Romics is dedicated to the great international selections where cosplayers from all parts of Italy are called to compete on the stage of the festival to represent the high level of italian cosplay!
In everyday life they are ordinary people, but during those specific events they transform themselves with great skill into heroes and characters of films, comics and cartoons.
The art of cosplay is an extraordinary hobby born in Japan and soon spread throughout the world which permits many enthusiasts to turn into their favourite superhero, whether it is the most intrepid heroine of the videogame world or the typical villain of a manga. The aim is to remain as faithful as possible to the original character, tailoring the simpler costume or the most elaborate armor chasing a spectacular performance.
Romics for over fifteen years is regarded as a reference festival for the cosplay world and will host also during the XXVI editon the Romics Cosplay Award, making available a 10000-seat room where on Sunday 6 October 2019 cosplayers will have the chance of participating in the international selections for the World Cosplay Summit 2020 in Nagoya – and the London EuroCosplay 2020.
